Theyre available at a couple of different places online, and I believe someone on this forum makes them out of metal as well. In the end I used then to "comb" the cables sort of. I started at the plug and then slid them down while making sure the cable lengths were even. I left a couple on there, but for the most part the plastic mdpc sleeving stays in place after you form it to the shape you want.
Thanks. This was my first time sleving and it was pretty much straight forward. The hard part was depining the cables. You definately need the right tool for the job, but I improvised as I didnt feel like paying 25 dollars for a depining tool I came up with my own out of some scrap I had around.
The botom one was alum, and it didn't fair so well. The top was steel and worked decently enough.
Yeah try and get another color in there and make some sort of pattern out of it. It definately makes thigs look a little better, or at least "POP"
