Received my DAS model S keyboard with Cherry blue switches. I'm liking it so far and don't mind the bottoming noise from the standard keys, but the wide stabilized keys make a lot more bottoming noise than the standard keys. Wide keys like backspace, shift, enter and ESPECIALLY the spacebar. The spacebar bottoming out makes a lot more noise than any of the other the keys.
I suspect using o-rings on the double wide keys will reduce the bottoming noise since they are only double width. Is that right?
However since there's only one blue switch for the spacebar with stabilizers on both sides, will an o-ring on the one centered switch reduce the bottoming noise of the spacebar? Or are there other things that can be done to reduce the bottoming noise of the spacebar?
I knew that there would be key bottoming noise going in, but I would like to reduce the bottoming noise of the spacebar if possible.
Thanks,
Raptor
