I dunno man, I'd have to see it in person. Honestly, with what I do (most often), I'd like to see it in a smaller size (maybe 27"?), for the higher ppi.

the more real estate the better it looks on paper but 3840 is a little too wide for computer desk use. 2560 is a little much and one of the reasons i prefer smaller multimonitor to tilt monitors. the 2160 vertical looks nice.
in portrait mode, 2560 looks gigantic. 3840 would be crazy!

but, the more real estate the better. bring it sharp. ips monitors are overated.

Google is coming out with a 10.1 tab with res 2560x1600, so i dont understand why there is no higher res desktop monitor then 2560x1600 out. Yes there are higher res monitors out but for a price of a car.
Like i said, sharp is massproducing a 32 inch desktop monitor with res 3840x2160 so i hope it will have a human price. That monitor is gona be my next monitorpurchase. cheers.gif

brb selling my kidney

seriously though, I would think you'd need two 680's or 7970's to power such a beast for gaming purposes
