Unfortunately 4K at 60 Hz maxes out DP 1.2. You would need a new display connection standard to run 4K @ 120 Hz, or some kinda dual DP 1.2 input monstrosity. eek.gif

Not to mention there are many sizes of IGZO displays. They won't mass produce the 31.5" screen until a monitor manufacturer places a large order, as the original article states.

then it is possible. that'd be up to hdmi and dp to battle it out.

The next HDMI standard will support it. Basically, us 120hz tards follow on the heels of 3D. The 4k fatties are gonna want their 3D, so the second gen of 4k displays should offer 120hz options.
