Need help adjusting voltage and settings in Asus P8Z77-V-Deluxe

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I'm running Ivy bridge @ 4.6GHz, 1.238Vcore at max load.
However the voltage and freq' are changing according to load. the voltage is set to Offset mode.

I would like to have it fixed voltage and fixed freq' however I'm afraid to screw things up and I hope someone can help me here on what to change and what to watch out from.

If needed I can provide screenshots from my BIOS.

Thanks smile.gif

If you want the volts fixed, you need to disable all the power management settings in your Bios.

For Ivy Bridge, however, it's not really recommended, since overclocks on that platform can remain rock stable with most power features in Bios left on, since in the end it's better for the CPU and your power bill.

Yes, there is one or two things from those features you have to disable, but not the majority - refer to my build log, in sig, to see which ones.

The amount of time my PC is on it doesn't affect the power bill.

I think the computer will run faster when it's set to constant frequency and voltage.
