I approve a prank of this magnitude, but I saw an article about how this was faked with a green screen. If you notice, during the video the IPS Panels display a viewpoint relative to the camera, rather than the people they're trying to scare, which points to green-screen usage...

Which model did you get? I work at a shop that sells monitors (and other computer stuff) and I have never seen a TN panel with better image quality than an IPS. When you say clarity what do you mean?

Fun ad, staged of course.

Color may be a matter of adjusting the screen, but clarity??????

Can you link the models of the two monitors? There may be a problem with your IPS monitor.

Get both calibrated. I can guarantee your TN panel isn't accurate either.

Funny vid.

Ips just means in plane switching. The type of backlight can still be led.

IPS and LED are different technologies, one is panel tech, and the other is backlighting tech.

dumb advertisement. the sound would be by far more startling at first before even noticing the floor. the floor just added to the moment itself. guarantee there were plenty of people that got on that elevator and never noticed the floor.

when you watch a horror movie its generally the sound that shocks and makes you jump more than the visuals.

From what I try to understand,
LCD = Screen
IPS, TN, PA = Type of LCD
LED. CFL = Backlights

That said.. I love IPS monitors, once you've got one theres no going back.
