That's where you have to be specific. Art style of the game? Technically impressive(crysis) ? AC has, to me, always looked like dump. The only reason I play it is because awesome assassin stuffs.

I can grantuee it won't be using steam work. Why would they counter there effort with Uplay and use steam??. UBISOFT especially for ac 3.. won't care for your sale on pc really. Especially not enough to hurt there uplay product. I honestly think games like AC 3 get pirated to much tbh because there isn't a strong online component. People just torrent it for the single player. But ac 3 will have a strong online component and hopefully some sort of DRM to prevent people pirating. I think all games on the pc should have DRM, just got DRM.

You're actually quite right.
But The Witcher 2 is single player only and topped nearly 2 million sales in May http://www.neoseeker.com/news/19319-witcher-2-nears-2m-sales-on-pc-and-360-headed-to-mac/

Why do you think that game sold so well?
Because the developers actually respect PC gamers. More AAA companies like Rockstar, Ubisoft, Activision, and EA need to take notes.
The money is there, but they just don't want to take that "risk" of not having a DRM on their games or something. Idk.

It was leaked, not pirated. Think like copyright lawyer wink.gif

Drm ain't the issue. Is making drm that doesn't hinder the experience of the buyers seems to be issue for money companies. I just seems CONSOLE developers making PC games without really fully understanding what a fluid experience would be for auidence. Over and Over we see big promises from game devs to deliver a good pc experience and they only half deliver. In cd projects case they well full PC and catered to to audience and they were able to get good sales. But companys that have been established already rather attack SIMPLER/LESS COMPLEX audience aka console gamers. But this is going to change because a lot of console gamers even want better experience as more and more strong pc games translate well to consoles. I think Next GEN games will be better but PC Gaming will Die again till the end of console cycle. I look Forward to pc gaming dying again sigh -.-.

There is still hope, this is from that 650ti promotion that includes an AC3 copy.

You do know 2 million sales over the course of a year is nothing to Rockstar, Ubisoft, Activision and EA. In fact im pretty sure they would consider that a failure.
