You know you can go to any one of the corners of any of your screens? Besides who needs corners when you have a windows key and shortcuts?

Yeah... I could. Or Microsoft could realize that the two shortcuts they put in place when I installed this one application, do, in fact, go to one program.

Or you could just use one or the other and not worry about it.

Idk... sorry for being argumentative. But it is just conveinance to click the shortcut in whichever mode I am in. Is there a way to shortcut the desktop icon to the metro or vice versa?

Not that I know of, personally I just unpinned (right click) the metro icon and use the desktop version.

Several of my drivers aren't officially supported, but they work fine with the clean install. Had a lot of issues after an attempt to go the upgrade route, mostly with games and my mouse driver/software (Razer Synapse), but all was solved with the clean install.

Currently have it installed on my laptop but not my sig rig. My university's wireless infrastructure uses CIsco access points and it seems there's a known issue with Windows 8 wireless drivers not playing nice with Cisco APs due to the forced use of 802.11w. I've temporarily downgraded to Windows 7 drivers which works around this issue.
