Asus P8P67 EVO, not booting after electricity going off

Everything worked flawlessly until a recent electrical cut off.
The booting button on the motherboard is red and the restart one is green if that means anything, I've tried using the reset CMOS button, removing my bios battery for half an hour and putting it back in, tried removing all components(including mouse and other non-keyboard things) but the essential ones, one by one.I tried checking the ram sticks on different slots (both and only one). When I use the booting button on either case or on the motherboard completely nothing happens, any ideas?

Was there a power surge? Did you have to trip anything in your electrical box to get the electricity to come back on?

It just happened to go off for 0,1s, didnt have to do anything to get it running again

Hmm, have you got another power supply you can test?

I intend on trying a 400W PSU that I have but its not exactly the most reliable test (it being old and not sure if enough to power the basic components), I'm trying to look for other possible solutions in the meantime

We need to see if it's the power supply thats the problem or another piece of hardware.
Can you post your specs to see if the 400w will be suffice. I suspect it will be as most rigs don't pull more than that, but we can never be sure. thumb.gif

How many HDDs do you have?
And is it overclocked?
