This is expected, there really is nothing special about iphone5. The galaxy s3 on the otherhand is smart phone on the nxt lvl. My brother who just got his iphone 5 is selling it now to get a galaxy 3, it simply came down to a realization of... 'why did i just buy another one of the same phone?'

And it's all Apple fault, all the court case did was alert the world that Samsung phones are just like iPhones but better.....

Raised consumer awareness equals higher sales thumb.gif

With that logic, then those with a GS2 shouldn't upgrade to the GS3 because "it's another of the same phone"?

My brother has a GS3, and myself an iPhone 5, neither of us would trade what we have for the other. It's simple preference of device. I don't really see what is so darned polarizing about it. Different people like different things, lets just move on...

As for Samsung, congrats. The GS3, while as I previously said, is not to my preference, is an excellent device and they're reaping the rewards of putting a quality product into the market. Kudos smile.gif

Indeed. Apple's beginning it's fall from grace, starting with the public backlash that all of these law suits are going to institute. They over anyone should know that Mindshare > Money, and with the abundance of alternatives and choice in the market, Apple cannot afford to be *that guy* that everyone hates. And before you say "they have 100Bn dollars" etc, you'd be surprised at how quickly that dries up when the stock tanks.

Great news! Glad Samsung is doing well in the Mobile market. I would love a SG3 but I'm going to get the Droid Razr Maxx HD! After my Thunderbot, I want battery more then anything, lol.

Maybe this will teach Apple to behave, and that the same phone 5 times over isn't tricking people any more.
