Antec Kühler H2O 620 halp

Thread Starter
New Question: Don't want to start a new thread, so here it goes. Which header should I plug the pump into? I currently have it plugged into the pwr header cause I read that the pump needs 12v constant. I then plugged in one of the push/pull fans into the cpu fan header. Is this right?

Original: Which one would you guys recommend? A local store here is having a sale on both items, Antec is 39.99 and comes with a fan, Corsair is 49.99 and no fans. Which performs better? Which has better warranty covering accidents?

I know the Kuhlers ID piping is smaller, but seems like their rad is better, and they say their flow is equal.

Thanks! thumb.gif

Go get whichever is cheaper

I currently have the 620, and i love it. Before I OC'd i had idles of around 25-30, and under load maximum of 40. Now i get underload maximum of 50 celcius.
I haven't used the h70, however i have heard it's nothing to shout about. In terms of customer service; i'm sure you've read the thread on the Antec's customer service for someone on here who's 920 leaked. He did eventually get his money back, despite a long, long tedious process with antec. Having said that, Corsair customer service is renowned to be good, however there have been a couple, and recent aswell, where the customers haven't had their hardware replaced or compensated for Corsair's H-xxx products leaking. There was one where someone lost over £700 worth of gear, and Corsair offered him £100 compensation. Again, this individual did get his money back, however it took a very long time and it was a one-off.

There are corsair and antec devs who are active on this site, so you're not alone.
Hope this helps. thumb.gif

Plug directly into the PSU. can't remember if the 620 comes with a 4 pin 12v adapter or not but if u have one lying around, just use that.

Hmm nope, doesn't come with an adapter. The pwr header isnt enough?
