All the new Gigabyte Rev. 1.1 and higher fixed the vdroop issue. The UD7 looks to be an awesome board and it's only $165 after rebate on newegg. That being said, it depends on what you want/need. So far the CHV-Z seems to be the best for overclocking PD, plus it has a host of new features, such as the LED poster, better audio, 8 x 6Gb SATA connectors and enhanced memory overclocking. They also gave it a new VRM section. However, the UD7 have the capability to run 4 PCIe cards, whereas all other 990FX boards can only do three or less. If you are into water cooling, EK makes a VRM block for the UD7, but nothing for the CHV-Z board. Figure out what you want/need and look at MB's that fit that. By the way, UD3 is just a little over $100 and it does quite well assuming you want the best bang for your buck.
