Arc Midi Water cooling

Thread Starter
First time water cooling and I plan to start out with a cpu only loop (3770k), but i'm not sure where to mount the pump and Res inside the arc midi, Is there a different pump/res that will fit better? also what do you guys think of these parts i'm trying to keep it in the 250$ range, i might add a 120mm rad later down the road.

Check this out.

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16070/ex-wat-210/XSPC_Raystorm_EX240_Universal_CPU_Water_Cooling_Kit_w_D5_Variant_Pump_Included_and_Free_Dead-Water.html?tl=g30c321s1310

Then, you put the pump and res in the drive bays. Yes, this will not allow for the install of a DVD rom, but you can just make it external. It will look a lot better as well with just the res in there.

Here is a pic with what looks similar to your wc hardware in the cart.....

Hope this helps..

Thanks for the quick reply, I thought about getting that kit but i would like to keep the drive bays clear. maybe ill go with one of those tube style Res and try to do something similar in the picture. maybe Remove the top hdd case and put the Res there and keep the pump on the bottom. and there would still be room for adding a 120mm rad later on.

The pic system looks clean. Not a lot of room in that case. You could do the same set up with the cube style res you have in your cart....

I would suggest taking out one of the sets of HDD bays and putting it there. That would look sweet. Not sure if you will be using all 8 though.
