AMD Mobility HD5000 with windows 8 help

Hello

I installed windows 8 at my laptop

But I can't install AMD Graphics Card Drive. I downloaded from AMD and installed CCC etc... But I can't open CCC and change graphics from intel to amd.

Please help me

Is your laptop by any chance a toshiba?

Well within you will have to download the graphics drivers and respective drivers from HP, the modification they made to the drivers is what allows you to switch from iGPU to dGPU.
I asked if it was a Toshiba because Toshiba graphics card usually only allow to Toshiba driver's to be installed.

Anyway if you really wish to install the graphic's driver from the AMD website, it is possible but I don't know if the switchable graphics will work after that.
You have to use 7zip, it's an extraction tool and you have to find the driver inside the ccc installer and add it to the computer manually.
After having the driver installed manually iirc you can install the Catalyst Control Center using the usual setup, it will detect that it has the driver installed and will install it as expected.

Might give some trouble tho, it's not an easy thing... I spent quite sometime doing this to my laptop.

Do you have any tutorial? Sounds complicated :S
