My times on my 7970 are taking like 10-15 mins now iv did a system restore, reinstalled boinc, reinstalled drivers, it all started once i installed rosetta but thats removed and its still doing it My normal times are 7:30-7:40.

I modded the 12.11 drivers with the opencl from 12.4 so we get great perf boost and a working driver for dirt till they finaly optimize their clients for the new opencl amd is using uploaded to darkryders site i will add it to mine later so you have more links to get it from.

7.30 for a Dirt WU? That's pretty damn fast.

My 7950's are completing in 11.30 - 11.50 and thats at 1100 core. I know that the 7970 is a bit better but 4 minutes faster?
Any chance Dirt has made some changes in their WU's or maybe there was something screwy going on before you installed Rosetta?

EDIT: I just ran some Dirt and got 11:34 completion times with 1100 core on 12.11 drivers.

they are taking 13mins now and no more points and i looked at others tasks and you guys arent taking near aslong as me lol.

Changing from 12.11betas to 12.10 seems to fix it gonna try to upgrade to 12.11 and not update the open cl.

lol spoke to soon back to taking forever.

I just started DiRT up again after a week off and I am having the same issues.

My first two WUs completed in the normal time of ~10mins and then all subsequent units started taking ~17mins. That is a pretty significant jump in run times.

I was running 12.8, I updated to 12.10 with the same result (although it did knock ~20s off my times) - the first two WUs took 10m, the rest take 17m.

It is not Rosetta related, I have been running that for a while before this problem came up. My guess is that there are some funky work units being sent out.

If this continues I am going to have to find another project, at 17m / WU it takes me from ~1.2M PPD to a lowly 750k.
