3Ds Max keeps stopping at 0.999MB file, won't render past 1gb.

Thread Starter
I am trying to render a 1000 frame 60 FPS animation I created in 3ds max, I keep setting it to render every night and it keeps on being finished with only 4 seconds at almost 1gb.

I rendered the animation in a super small resolution with all my lights off and it worked rendered the entire thing. All I can think of is its not letting me render past 1gb as if I have some type of render settings blocking it? I have rendered longer animations before though and it worked perfectly

Are you using Mental Ray or V-Ray to render your scene? Also, are you using 64bit 3ds max?

What are your output settings?
Specifically, are you trying to render the entire 1000 frames in one file? Like a "xxxx.avi"
Large animations should always be rendered out as image sequences and then re-compiled later in the post-production process. This way your computer only has to store the information for a single frame at a time rather than all 1000 frames in a single file.
