Also, sorry It took me some time to respond. And thanks for all the help again guys.

yes the XFX HD 7970 Ghz uses a reference HD 7970 PCB. the DD cooler works fine on the newer Ghz cards. there has been some improvement because previously the DD coolers were not as good.

Cougar Vortex fans are my personal favorites. ANYTHING that is above 19db IS NOT SILENT AT ALL. Noiseblockers are not silent. Grab the Black bladed ones if you like but make sure that you get the PWM ones for the most silence.

Sorry for the double post (It won't let me delete this for some reason)

But I've narrowed it down to going with the Sabertooth X79, or the Rampage IV formula. What do you guys think?

Can you do me a favor and Make a suggestion for 140mm case fans? I was thinking of going with the Corsair AF 140 Silent edition.

What Do you guys think now?

• Plus two 256 GB samsung 830's in RAID 0
• I already own Windows 7
• A new Monitor down the line
• A Case I already have
• a sound card once I decide which one

How is that for my first build?

EDIT- Changed motherboard to Rampage IV Formula.
