The question is perhaps : By that time (Jan/Feb), will the OEM Premium cost less than $110? I have a feeling it wont. The reason MS is doing this is because they essentially can bill you for Vista before it comes out to make Q4 balance sheet look better. The buying of MCE is essentially a pre-bought Vista Premium. It makes perfect business sense.

on newegg. It sounds like the offer applies to computer from an "authorized system builder". If that were the case, why would newegg be selling these. I'll probably have to call newegg...
