Amazon o-rings worth it?

For folks who bought and installed the o-rings from amazon did they quiet the keys to your satisfaction? (Especially the wide keys and the space bar.)

Thanks,

They quiet them but they also alter the feel, as all o-rings will do, since they reduce key travel. I tried it with the four most common Cherry MX switches and hated the feeling with all. Others love it though so YMMV.

Thanks for your input. Hope to hear from others who tried the o-rings being sold on amazon. They are harder (50a) than the Wasd 40a o-rings but smaller in diameter.

Not a fan of o-rings. They make your keys feel like trash.

Kindly remind that, make sure the size is right. If you buy from WASD, then it will fit perfectly.
I intentionally put double o-ring to reduce the key travel distance, which I can key press faster than before in fps games.
It is a personal preference as we all knew biggrin.gif

Is that black o-ring the 008 Buna-N O-Ring, 50A Durometer, Round, Black, 3/16" ID, 5/16" OD, 1/16" Width like amazon sells? If so, do they lessen key bottoming noise similar to the WASD 40A o-rings?

They all from WASD biggrin.gif.

How did you like the smaller cross-section black o-rings compared to the larger cross-section WASD pink o-rings?

Thanks,
Raptor

They are the same size, cherry mx stem is a standard size. The picture kinda giving us an illusion.
