I have a ax 850w psu

and while i was modding my pc today, a paper fell in the power supply

I shook it as hard as i could, and it might have fell out, not really sure if it did or not

when i run the psu and if the paper is still in there, what will happen to the psu?

You do mean paper, and not paperclip, right?

If just paper, don't worry about it.

yea you might won't to get that out of there ..................

take out the 4 screws for the fan girl and shake it and make sure it comes out as it might stop the fan
post #7 of 13
How do you not know if it fell out?

Its not conductive, so that should be fine...you just don't want it to get on a hot component and combust. I wouldn't go as far as opening the power supply up though.

Just leave it, I personally would never go inside a power supply, get a professional to do so.
