Prodigy Build advice needed!

Thread Starter
Hi everyone, it will be soon before i will be building a m-itx system but i need some advice here.

Things i will be getting:

1) INTEL 3770K + P8Z77-I DELUXE
2) G.Skill RipJawX 1600MHz CL9 (8GB x 2)
3) CORSAIR H100
4) BITFENIX PRODIGY
5) BITFENIX RECON ( If possible )
6) BITFENIX SPECTRE PRO ( if possible )

Things that will be reused

1) INTEL 520 240GB
2) CORSAIR AX 750
3) TOSHIBA 3TB
4) Sapphire 6950 2GB

Some questions,
1) Will i be able to fit the Recon controller if i were to mount the H100 on top of the case with push fan internally?
1.1) Will a 200 or 230mm fan still be mounted on the front (internal) of the case?
2) Will a 140mm fan still be mounted on the rear (internal) of the case without being obstructed by the fan and radiator of the H100?

Advice and recommendations will be much appreciated,
Thanks!

No. You won't be able to fit the recon. However, there are slightly smaller fan controllers out there that will (because they aren't very deep) and you will still have to mod it a bit: the Aerocool Touch 1000.

You could also mod the case fairly easily to have the 5.25" bay in the bottom instead of the top.

Congrats on getting a BitFenix prodigy, best case of any size I've had the pleasure of working with for years!
