The bad news is you must keep the old CCC version from the old display driver. First off, download the latest AMD video card driver for the laptop video card. I think the latest desktop video card is also good. Just unpack it but don't install the driver then open "W76A_INF" or "W86A_INF" subfolder in the "Driver" subfolder in the "Packages" subfolder. In this is another subfolder BXXXXX where you can find the new display driver files and also a C7XXXXX.cat file. The interesting file begins with C7XXXXX.cat. The new version has also a C8XXXXXX.cat file. The trick is to replace the C7XXXXX.cat file and the content of BXXXXX subfolder from the working installer folder with the appropriate files from the downloaded driver. Basically you need to copy and rename the C7XXXXX.cat file and also copy the content of the subfolder BXXXXX. Then you can start the old installer setup executable and update the driver. Windows may give you an error message but you can safely ignore it. Presto. Optionally you can modify the old .inf file and replace the old driver version number. Then you can switch between the integrated and the dedicated video card. Good Luck!
