It shows it in the boot override, but not as a drive to boot from. It also showed up in Windows 8 and looked fine.

Did some troubleshooting. When I unplug all drives besides the SSD, the boot device LED in my mobo turns on as well as a green led on the ssd itself. It does the same weird line thing on startup. When I hook up only the HDD, there's no error LEDs, but windows 8 says it needs repairing. So it seems clear that my SSD is either corrupted or fried, but windows 8 errors have no explanation. Any suggestions? I think my best bet would be to install windows 7 on the 75gb partition where windows 8 currently is, back up all of my files from the SSD if they're still accessible, then reinstall Win 7 on the SSD.
