[Need help to decide] Beats Pro or Beats Studio?

My brother wants to buy new headphones. All he does is listen to music and occasionally watch movies. He doesn't game, so do not look at these headphones from that aspect. He'll be using it with his Macbook/iPhone/iPod. I want the best one that there is. If you have any other recommendations, please suggest.

Not enough information regarding the kind of music your brother listens to.

Does your brother care more about showing off a brand or the quality of his music? I ask because he has an iphone and is interested in Beats. When people do that they're looking for brand recognition, not quality.

So you read that thread and you're confused about what exactly?

By the way there is no such thing as " the best there is",there are different options that some could like but others wouldnt.What is the price range what type of music does he listen to?

Well, for $400, I'd buy HE-400s, but he'd need an amp for those. Since he wants to go with his ipod though..

I'd recommend Ultrasone Pro 900s with a Fiio e10.

That would absolutely destroy Beats in every way.

They are proper recommendations...we didn't put in the catagories etc and the work in it for nothing. Thing is Beats are horridly overpriced.
