GTX NVIDIA 660ti - PCIE GEN3 ? / LATENCY ?

Thread Starter
On msi big bang xpower II, by default, the pcie gen3 is disabled in bios.
I have nvidia gtx660ti. Should I enable The pcie gen 3 option to get a better data transfer?
The latency is set to 32 . Should I increase it to a higher number in this specific configuration ?
thx!

Just leave it on auto. It won't make a difference whether or not you use Gen 3 because your card cannot max out Gen 2 at x8 or higher.

Not much really. Video rendering is all done on the CPU, while applying effects (if supported by the program) and overlays are done with the GPU. Overclock your CPU if you want a speedup in video editing.

EDIT: Even when applying video effects it is done in a second or less anyway.

Good news for me!
I just built up this system and I didn t want to hear that a certain component is going to slow down the rendering process.
You are right., using oc genie , I pushed the cpu to the turbo mode ( 4000mhz). Things are fast. !
