yea you WILL NOT REGRET IT AT ALL

Both games are epic and FO NV improves in some ways upon an already amazing game that is FO3.

Fallout 3 has an expansion set in my home town also thumb.gif

Batman is ok but the pc optimization blows.

I enjoy action/adventure/shooters and might be willing to jump into a RTS/strategy/simulation if it was a good fit. I should also mention that the game I am currently playing the most is Shining Force I/II (Genesis classics for 360) with my kids - I loved strategy RPG in my youth and my two daughters love the characters and animations. Here are the games I already have and my experience with them so you can get an idea of what I enjoy:
Still Occasionally Play
Battlefield 3 - played from Day 1, unlocked just about everything, really enjoy this game but now somewhat stagnant
Mass Effect - nothing bad to say... except for the rover missions
Mass Effect 2 - maybe the best game I have ever played
Mass Effect 3 - still enjoy it
Diablo 3 - mindless fun, co-workers play it too
SC2 - Never played the first one. I dont really enjoy the PvP aspect, other than my crappy 3v3 or 4v4 teams or random teams as I dont have the time to practice to be any good. love the story and achievement farming in the campaign

Damn dude, that's the exact same list of games i've been playing since the past few months. Battlefield 3 for MP, Diablo 3 and TF2 for gathering in-game currency. Mass Effect series all time since 2008, and i gotta agree there that Mass Effect 2 by far was the best followed by Mass Effect 3 (Love it) and Mass Effect 1. Those Mako missions were really a pain in the *** but the main story was really well.

I have a few other single player games i got such as borderlands 2 which im loosing interest in day after day. Modded Skyrim but never played it. I think all the games im looking forward to are coming out late such as Crysis 3, SimCity 2013. So im gonna wait too.

Something you might like would be FarCry 3 but im not expecting it to be that great. From the RTS side we have Generals 2 incoming, its F2P but im looking forward to it since EA-Bioware's working on it and the recently said that a Single Player story mode would be added in the game (it was originally intended to be Multiplayer only). That's about it from this year.

I don't see Skyrim on your list. If you haven't played that, you should easily sink in excess of 50 hours into it. If you already own Bastion, that game is a work of art, and you should play it immediately.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I ended up picking up Fallout 3 GOTY, Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition, and BioShock Franchise Pack (always wanted to give it a try). I figure I should be busy for some time now.

Thanks again biggrin.gif +Rep

If you get Batman do play AA before AC because it is pretty much a sequel and you won't know some of the stuff that went down in the asylum and how now you have an entire city of freaks to beat up. They refer to events that happened in AA at the start of the game pretty much.
