Nvlddmkm Error, BF3.

Thread Starter
During some sessions of BF3 I get a black screen and can still here the game noise, i can ctrl alt del, open task mgr try to switch to it and still black. I eventually have to end the task. I have tried disabling aero desktop and disabling visual themes and desktop composition. Still happens. I have uninstalled and re-installed drivers with driver sweeper, still happens. Below is the error. Card doesn't over heat it is water cooled, never gets about 40c. Cpu never above 50c.

Anyone else have this issue or have a fix for it?

Some cards under liquid cooling suffer from the water cooling bug which makes them unstable.

Try card on air.

Go into your task manager processes tab and try ending the process on nvdxsync.exe. This has stopped all my crashes for GW2 that i am having.

I was having the same problem with Borderlands 2. Go to the nvidia control panel and 3d settings look for Power Management Mode and set it to maximum performance. This solved the problem for me. The problem is the card gets throttled at times it shouldn't.
