Hi guys, im new to all this modding and just doing my fist build but wanted to know what would be the best water cooler for an i5-3570k overclocked to 4.0ghz or 4.5ghz.

thank you.

In terms of an all in one water cooler, somewhere along the lines of the corsair H100, any all in one watercooler with a 240 rad will perform similarily

@OP... be more specific... are you looking for a closed loop system? custom set up? or a kit? if its just a kit, i think i stand for prity much everyone on OCN by saying XSPC RASA kit.... if closed loop, H100... if custom build then give us your goals and budget and we will be sure to help you out smile.gif

i just want a cpu cooler to go in a blue coloured rig so i can overclock a i5-3570k to 4.0ghz or maybe 4.5ghz but i do not have the cpu yet as im reading reviews on the best one to get sandy or ivy.
if thats the case then i would go with the H80 or even a high end air cooler... they have roughly the same performance and the same price... also, a hyper 212 would probably get you 4GHz (idk about 4.5)... you wont get any real benefit from a custom loop at this rad size and just for CPU block smile.gif

i dont see the need to go with the smallish all-in-one for the cash investmet. using a suggested
212 will hold a 4.3/4.4 overclock, easily.to achive the longer overclocks the uber-coolers
(NH-D14, 14TPE, etc..) would be a better help. if you are being case limited, then heed that and
go for the better air-coolers.

in the futrue, it'd kinda be a great to get some information about your rig, so members can make
informative suggestions, without late breaking information that really skews the help... just a
suggestion..

I was going more for water cooling because of the noise level, water cooling setups seem to be quiter than air coolers and the rig will be right next to me not on the floor or anything so the quiter the better.
