gpu temps

ok heres a good one for anyone that can explain this, I can play mw3 and bf3 and my 2 GTX 580's reach about 58c but if I play solitare my gpu's will reach 66c but the gpu usage graph on msi afterburner shows only one gpu at 1% use, anyone know why this is? also this is different from gpu temps but i'll post it anyway, my northbridge temp will hit 55c while playing bf3 and mw3 but will hit 63c while playing solitare.

Probably Solitaire and most likely 2D games in general are not very optimized when it comes to the drivers.
