I currently have a GTX 680 reference design (EVGA 04G-P4-2686-KR). It's watercooled with an XSPC V2 block. I'm not getting fantastic temps like everyone else. I'm getting about 30c idle and about 58c under load.
Is this normal temp or is this too high? I used the XSPC paste that came with the block. I have never been able to overclock this to 1200 for the gpu clock and still be stable. I would think that it would do it no problem. Did I get a bottom binned version? I'm planning on getting a 2nd card and water cooling that as well and run it in SLI. My goal is 60fps in surround with 3 monitors 5040 x 1050.
My setup is as follows:
XSPC RX 480 Radiator
MCP-655
OC'ed 2700k to 4.8ghz w/XSPC block
Danger Den Res
Do I just reseat the block with better paste like PK-1? Ideas?
