lol. I've swapped blocks between two rigs including pulling all the gpu's out (several of which are w/c), purged air out of the sytems on both and had them both buttoned up and running in a few hours.
.....and I am not a young man. wink.gif
doesn't matter though, it's whatever makes you happy. smile.gif

That is indeed the truth Mandrix! At the end of the day, if you are happy with it, that is all that matters. Good looking rig so far though, Jwalkermed. Keep up the good work. thumb.gif

PS: What keyboard is that Jwalkermed? If it is the keyboard I think it is in front of those monitors, then I wholeheartedly approve! biggrin.gif

Believe me, I do want to put it under water. Just don't have the time to work on it right now.

And the keyboard is a quickfire rapid TKL w/ blues. I've since replaced it with a Ducky Shine II w/ browns. Not sure that I like the browns better but I'm adjusting. Love the tactility of the blues.

Ahh, not what I thought it was, but I have a Ducky Shine II with blues on the way myself! I agree on the tactility of the blues though, feels really smooth. I don't know, just something about "feeling" the keys like that is very satisfying. thumb.gif

Nice clean looking build. Case looks empty inside. Could you post your temps after you finish the build. I'm going to be rocking the ST10 when its released and I'd love to know how it performs. thumb.gif

Man, I really gotta see what all the hype is about on these mechanical keyboards! My trusty G15 has been treating me well for a couple years though it might be time for an upgrade.

Also, quite the monitor setup you have OP!

Final pics after cable management. This big case sure looks empty. I need to put this under water, I just can't really find the motivation to do it right now. It's all stock clocks too. Don't really have any reason to OC at this time especially for my computing needs.

Other thoughts: I like the orange xigmatek fans but they are a little noisy. Not bad just not as quiet as some of the other (uglier) options out there. Guess it's a battle between aesthetics and performance... such is life.

Sorry about the blur in the photo. It was handheld in low light (under my desk).

Mechanical keyboards are nice (not necessary). I first owned a board with cherry blues and loved the switch. I've since switched to a board with cherry browns and though people love the switch I can't say I love it. Maybe still adjusting though it's been over a month now. Even though the actuation force for the brown is less, I feel like I have to press harder to activate the switch. I have a hunch this is due to less tactile feedback. Best bet is find a place to try the different switches out (next to impossible).

Ducky Shine II (browns) with purple backlight.

Yes lots of real estate to play with, though I think 1 30" and a portrait 24" would be a better set up for me. I rarely used the 2nd 27" to the right. I think I'll use it more if Lightroom ever releases an update where the let you choose which monitor will be the secondary display, or support 3 displays... holding my breath (turning blue!!!!)
