G510 issues

So just recently my 10ish month old G510 started acting weird but a simple unplug and replug would seem to fix it. But everyday it got progressively worse and finally today it has just gotten to the point where I simply can't use it. Now it is kind of hard to explain what is going on but I will try my best. First thing that normally happens is that I will plug it in and it won't load my profile or anything and I will type like I normally would but the key strokes would only be registered every couple of seconds. So I would type and it would be like "G......5......1......0..... .......p.......r.......o......b........l.......e.....m.....s" So I would just unplug it and plug it back in and hope it would work (which it never did). Second thing that would happen is that the keyboard would just not even turn on or start. Couldn't do anything with it and I would then just unplug and try again. Finally the third thing that would happen is that It would turn on a start to load my profile but then the loading would freeze and I wasn't able to use the keyboard at all. So at first I thought it was my mobos USB but my mouse works fine, wireless adapter works fine and this crappy wireless keyboard I'm currently using works fine so I've ruled that out. Almost 100% its the keyboard so does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Should I contact logitech or should I just get a new board. I'm honestly probably just going to use this as an excuse to get a new board because I was starting to get a little sick of the G510 but I'm not sure I have $130 to throw down on a better keyboard.

Have you tried reinstalling the profiling software? You may have one out of date or something too.

I had a similar problem with my G19, the lights and screen wouldnt turn on on boot. Found out it was that I just had to reset the surge protector (I have one of those Eco ones that turns off some of the plugs after a while). I'm guessing its simular for a regular, just powere everything down and flip the switch on the surge protector off and on. Hope this helps

I've tried rebooting and the didn't seem to do anything. Plus I've tried using it on every other USB port that my computer had and where the keyboard wouldn't work my mouse or my wireless adapter or my iPhone charger or wireless keyboard would work.

Have you tried talking to Logitech support? They are very good with their customers service from my personal experience

Well.. for me, Razer Synapse 2.0 caused problems and hangs on my keyboard software/driver, ever since I disabled it from boot-up or launching, my keyboard's been working great. Try that?

I'll give that a try but if that were the case I probably would stop using this keyboard because that would be completely unacceptable to me. lol
