ASRock Z77E-ITX
Lian Li PC-Q18
Intel Core i5-3570K
Kingston HyperX Blu 16GB KHX1600C10D3B1K2/16G
other stuff soon

The specs say the case has an 80mm max clearance, but I've read elsewhere to stay 65mm or under. The Z77E-ITX seems like a great motherboard but it's hard to find a CPU cooler that actually fits, let alone one that's good and super-low profile. I need to get one fast!

Requirements:

Under 75mm, preferably under 65mm.
No watercooling.
Can't block the PCI-E slot or regular-sized memory, of course.

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Have any of you tried Phanteks PH-TC90LS on this board?

Closed loop water coolers like those by Corsair have very low profile heatsinks.

Thermalright AXP-100, which will be released in early November (120mm×105mm×44mm) and they just announced they've added variable position holes to the fan bracket meaning a TY-140 will fit on just about any board.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Any idea on the release date for AXP-100? I have to pick something in a day or so. Watercooling isn't an option due to case constraints. Also, I'll be shipping it overseas to Europe from the US, so I want to keep it simple.

Do you think the heatsink I linked will clear the CPU area? The base of it is really low and it's hard to tell from the Z77E pics how high everything surrounding the socket is.

I have the same setup and clearance is about 76mm. Sadly, there's no place to mount the corsair H series easily, firstly, the fan holes are for 140mm and adding any adapters will increase the thickness. The top doesn't have enough clearance. The front will work if you take out the HDD cage, which defeats the purpose of this case.

Samuel 17 will work without modding.
Noctua NH-L12 will work; for Z77E-ITX you need to bend the fins forward so as not to hit the PCI-E slot.
You could do single fan mode or use two fans with a scythe slim fan on top.

Samuel 17: I looked it up from mentions in another thread earlier. It doesn't appear to be readily available anywhere. :/

Noctua NH-L12: this comment in another thread also got me a bit concerned with a GPU in. I'm not really wanting to bend it unless it's the only option but....

...how much bending (hammering) are we talking?
