The Koolance CPU-380 sets a new standard for manufacturing quality and thermal performance. From the cold plate and flow path to the mounting hardware, every aspect of the block has been refined with unprecedented results.

It features a microfin nickel-plated copper cold plate, acetal top, and thick steel mounting bracket. Standard G 1/4 BSP threading will accept any Koolance fitting diameter up to 19mm (3/4in) OD compression style. Please select the desired fitting type for this base model (it does not include fittings).

The CPU-380I supports most boards using the following processors:

Intel socket LGA 2011
Intel socket LGA 1155/1156
Intel socket LGA 1366 (may require BLT-CPASZD12 if motherboard back plate is fixed)
Intel socket LGA 775

The CPU-380A supports most boards using the following processors:

AMD socket AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2
AMD socket G34 (with separate BLT-CPAMDG34)
AMD socket 1207(F)/C32, 939, 940 (with separate BKT-CP021K and ACC-CPU350)

$74.99

There are reviews of this block out there, but I can't link to them because I wrote them. So use google people!

Interesting, how would you compare this with the AquaComputer Kryos (XT, HF, w/e)?

I still wanna see more reviews but so far it seems great.

Since its predecessors have generally pretty decent performance, it seems good to me.

Only thing that makes me hesitate is my personal preference about Koolance design.

now, I'm confused even more, before seeing this I was about to choose between EK Supreme HF & XSPC Raystorm
definitely will make me to reconsider..

Don't like the chrome, most motherboards are going for black PCBs and dark colour schemes so a black bracket would be much better.

So I'll pay even more money to powder coat a $75 block... I don't think so...

The raystorm is a good block for the money. If you're going to get EK, at least get the newer supremacy (unless you dislike the CSQ look).

The CPU-380 is the top performer, but if you don't like the aesthetic then there are plenty of other blocks that won a silver award like the MIPS IceForce, the Swiftech Apogee, the DT Sniper, the Koolance CPU-370 and the XSPC Raystorm. All of them perform almost as well (1C delta) and are good choices.

they did cut a lot of material from the previous model koolance cpu block they should at least kept the price a bit low too. and the performance is not that much of much from the previous version just look the chart and you will see it very clear. i still have the first CPU-370 in my main rig and its performance very well just for a tease i had it powder coat to match my build smile.gif and here is today's proof how it performance

More from this CPU block here smile.gif BHD Build
