GPU died.. need games

Thread Starter
So my GPU just died... and I need games my onboard can run... didn't even bother to look at what I have because it's that bad, but it's on the am3 platform so I'm sure they're all similar...

I need some low demanding games, any ideas? I was thinking about playing RS for some old time sake.. but idk... I'll take anything, I'm into casual games, and indie games, but I'll also play fast action FPS, sports/racing games....

If anyone knows any cool emulators they'd recommend that sounds solid too (I don't know anything about emulators and roms...)

Thanks!

I'd recommend some of the stuff on sale on steam:

I've ran Killing Floor on worse onboard gpus (might have to lower settings a little) if you're into survival horror multiplayer FPS

Plants vs Zombies if you're into tower defense

Cthulhu saves the world and Breath of Death VII if you're into retro RPGs (Very funny if I may say so tongue.gif)

Amnesia for single player horror

not on steam but I believe you can run most of the things in the Indie Royale bundle if you're into adventure games (Sam and Max, Macguffin's curse etc.)

Mount and Blade should work
Torchlight, torchlight 2 will probably work too.
Hotline Miami is a lot of fun.
The Binding of Issac
Super Meat Boy
Eschlon Book 1
Avedon The Black Fortress
Ys The Oath in Felghana

I'm sure that a ton of older games will run well.

The embedded graphics on that chipset is the ATi HD4250 and it is probably eating Ram.
It should handle some stuff...

Just started playing Richard Burns Rally a few days ago and I'm hooked. I'm guessing onboard can handle it since here's its system requirements from the wiki "Pentium III, 256 MB RAM, Windows 98, 64MB Graphics Card".

Despite that it's one of the best rally games I've ever played.

Faster Than Light

Hotline Miami

Ys: The oath in Felghana

Cthulu saves the World

Breath of Death VII

Take a look on steam, there are a lot of old-style 8-16 bit games, many of them RPG titles which are good timesinks.

I play heroes 3 and bejeweled twist in between battlefield. Civilization wouldn't be too bad either. RS would be ok
