Monitor Shutting Off After Startup

Hey Everyone, not sure if this is a monitor problem or what but I could use some help.

I'm at work trying to sort out our pc here, when I start the pc it shows the initial boot screen then the image disappears. The monitor and pc both stay on. The initial boot image is also very dim.

The only way to fix it is to keep restarting until the boot screen is bright and then it stays on. It also does this if it goes to sleep and I have to restart.

Very confusing, any insight?

Try a different monitor, if that does not work then try a different GPU, if you MB has an onboard GPU then you will need to try a different MB or you may be able to disable the onboard GPU and try a discrete GPU if the MB has an available slot.
