Inb4 you have to buy a stupid ass Xbox Live gold membership to use it! Gah. You guys have to remember these are the people that brought you Vista, the Xbox Live subscription that should be free and so on.

It seems like there is a ton of legal work involved in getting these shows available, especially for streaming. I wish everything that was available on netflix dvd was also available with streaming. For what it's worth, Hulu also has some pretty terrible holes in their selections. Netflix just has these time spans where they don't add anything and their streaming lineup is just a pile of stagnation.

Maybe Microsoft throwing a ton of money at people in the industry will make Netflix's selection magically delicious?

I'd like to believe that. But the movie houses are asking for an incredible amount of money from Netflix already. If Microsoft got involved the movie houses would ask for an even incredibler amount of money.

It feels that way for sure. There are just so many different services available with widely varying levels of content, seemingly because one gets some deals that the other doesn't get. Then there's the whole pay per view thing on cable boxes which get movies a month before anyone else really. I had to go to Amazon for Archer season 3, and that was a couple months ago. Netflix still doesn't have season 3.

I'd be okay with this. I'm all about Microsoft becoming cool again..

Well, some may argue that they were never cool. rolleyes.gif
