That and you get the free games quite possibly.. Otherwise it's still worth the bit extra when you only add power to the equation.
Oh and if you need more power you can add more then "just another card" and add up to 3 mroe 7950/7970's.
Could't have put it better myself.

That's how much my one cost, it is a OEM card however, so it exhausts out the back of my case, and is on a 7970 PCB :DDD

The 7K series is pretty decent at it, but I haven't read too much on it and only tried it for a few days on my own 7950. I think FPUs is where it is at right now, though it's really hard to justify their costs ($500+).
OT: Good decision on getting a 7950! It really is the best performance for the price at the top tier of GPUs and will be great for your Eyefinity setup. thumb.gif
We cant talk about there here?! Oops sorry... But thanks wink.gif

You'll see a massive increase in performance and a smaller power bill too wink.gif
I'm happy I've convinced another person to get a 7950 over an older card or an nVidia card. It's so hard to suggest anything else at this price range. Dual cards are cool and dual cards on a single PCB (5970 etc) are cool too but they're a lot of hassle to setup and they don't work in all games. That and the 7950 has more vRAM and it's actually faster at stock I'm lead to believe.
Thank you so much! I'm loving my new purchase =D!!

Yep, the 5970 can come out ahead in games that are really well threaded for multi GPU but, meh.

Couldn't agree more!

Also being the same price and new with a 3 year or so warranty you couldn't really ask for more, if you buy your card from overclockers.co.uk at the minuet they are giving everyone that buys a 79xx card, sleeping dogs, hitman absolution when available, farcry 3 when available and 20% off the new medal of honor
Nice, but I have all the games I need and want for now.
