Issue with Asus Sabertooth z77

Thread Starter
I have a new build and was working great for the first 90 days and all of a sudden I had blue screen after blue screen. They never gave me the same error and was happening so often I did not have a chance to try and resolve it in Windows. So after it started doing this in Safe Mode I moved on...I keep only Windows and Office installed on the main drive so Reinstalling in case of a system critical file being messed up was no big deal for me.

Grabbed my Windows 7 disc and I got an error at 98% Extraction...It is an original Disc so I moved to a new copy that I had just burned with my laptop....Same error....

Grabbed a Windows 8 disc (have a technet sub and it was out for us already) it goes through the extraction and gets an error. Same error as in Windows 7 on both DVDs.

Error box says Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation.

Error code: 0x80070570

So I hit the Web. Someone says to burn the DVD at the lowest possible speeds...I did this and same error....

I grab my trusty USB and get a bootable Windows 7 install and same error and again when I tried Windows 8...

I have tried All 8 sata ports
I have tried all sata cords that came with the board and the ones that came with my other board.
I have tried my SSD and 2 other Hard Drives. (Hard drives dont even register for Windows installation when you go to Disk Part)
I ran Bootable CDs like Hirens boot disk and the SSD and the HDDs tested perfect....
Memtest came back perfect for the memory...

Oh and by the way the DVD drive, SSD, HDD, Memory, and CPU all show up in the Bios.

I have tried these Bios Updates

SABERTOOTH Z77 BIOS 1504
SABERTOOTH Z77 BIOS 1403
SABERTOOTH-Z77 BIOS 0801

I have sent the board in for a RMA and the Tech said the board was defective. Asus sent a new board...Same Exact Issue.

Also All parts are new except the Case....nothing was wrong with the Thermaltake case. Here are the parts.

I am listing what is on the Board straight from the Box...just got the replacement tonight. I have again tried Windows 7 and 8 and about to try Ubuntu....

Sabertooth Z77 Bios Version 1504
Intel Core i7-3770s
4x4gb Corsair Memory (dont have the box downstairs)
Intel SSDSC2CW120A3
Corsair PSU HX850
Noctua NH-D14

Hopefully you all can help me...I am about to have fit over this...

Seems for some people the RAM is causing this problem.
Check if the ram is running at the rated voltage.
Try with 1 stick and move it around.
Try running MEMtest

Just turned on XMP on the board and updated to the Latest Bios...still nothing about to pull sticks of memory out and hope that it is something that stupid..

Well from what i read people where having this due to RAM problems or bad HDD's/SSD's
Maybe also try running CHKDSK

Lets hope somebody else can jump in and help out because i'm not really and expert at this.

Hey any help is nice...I do this for a living but I forget things sometimes when it is my stuff.....I would agree with the assessment of possible drives but I have ran so many tests on the SSD and the HDD that I tried first was the one that I pulled out of the case that had Windows 7 already on it....the other drive I tried was brand new out of the box from Best Buy.....

It seems to be either the Settings in the Bios or one of the sticks of memory...pulled out 8gigs and left 8 in and it just installed....

I skipped this earlier because of the Memtest results came back without issue.

Thanks again for the Help!

Sometimes all it takes is another pair of eyes in the mix. Will let you know if it crashes again
