Explain with this APU (I assuming and shouldn't is the fusion?)
Basically the APU is a combination of a CPU and a GPU. On board graphics. Most Intel chips have this, however with AMD's new 'Trinity' APU, they have dramatically increase the integrated GPU, providing more graphical power. It is in no way close to rivaling a dedicated graphics card, however it is going in the right direction. It's more based for browsing / light game playing.

Correct???

I don't believe 2011 is the future. Haswell ( next gen Intel chips ) will run on a new socket, i believe, so neither 2011 or 1155. 2011 is only for Sandy Bridge -E and Ivy Bridge -E ( when it get's released ).

Thread Starter
I just can't believe the market anymore Intel used to have cpus price all over the 300,400,500. Now it all main stream to 200$ than more extremes.

LGA 1155 Standard Currently (Intel core I3,I5,i7)(Some have Dedicated GPU on them some don't)
LGA 2011 For Extreme Product line

AM3+ Standard Currently for AMD
FM1,FM2,FM3 (For Fusion).

This is great I feel I can make some choice's!!!

Yep, that's pretty much it socket - wise.
AMD has seriously lost most of it's grip on the market share of Desktop CPUs, they can't compete with the high end Intel's anymore, not like we saw with the Phenom line. Pretty bad for us, Intel now have the discretion to hike prices when they want and we will effectively be forced into them for any real performance gains.
