PC won't sleep!

Thread Starter
I cannot get my computer to stay in sleep mode. I tried disabling all devices armed to wake it, and then checked in CPrompt. This happened. I assumed this would mean I fixed it. It didn't. I then updated all of my drivers. This still didn't fix it. I can not figure out what's going on. Hibernate is disabled too, even though Regedit says it is enabled. I have rebooted, before anyone asks.

What it does is:
Goes to sleep. Flashes light 1 or 2 times, then wake up immediately.

Please help!

Have you set "Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer" under the network adapter? You said you have disabled all things that might wake it...but I had to enable this, otherwise it was waking by itself after a few seconds from any other network traffic.

I didn't try that. I just unchecked "allow this device to wake this computer."

Try unplugging all USB devices (including mouse/keyboard, just unplug them quickly while it goes to sleep)
Also I know there are some BIOS settings that can affect this.

Did you disable wake timers in the power settings?
