It's exactly like BP. Just prettier and licensed cars. I quite like it myself thumb.gif

It's like BP, but nowhere near as fun, or as good. It just feels terrible to me and I put well over 100 hours into BP. Crashing in BP was awesome, in this it's annoying as all get out. Definitely regret buying it at full price. Shoulda waited till it was half off eventually.

I also have over a 100hrs into BP and I find this every bit as fun. The feel is different than BP but that's because these are real cars with more realistic physics than BP. There are still BP styled crashes too.
Spend more time with the game and you will probably start loving it.

Just taking a slow drive through the city there is soooo much atmosphere. They really made this game feel alive which is unheard of for a NFS game.

because manufacturer's license agreements wouldn't let them destroy their cars

Just played with it for about 1hour or so...
managed to beat Most Wanted driver #10
found a few cars, Porsche 911 (obviously, you start with it) Subaru Impreza WRX, Nissan GTR (some special edition name), Aston Martin V12 Vantage, Lamborghini Countach, Ford SVT Raptor, and also saw the Arial Atom, but since I was on the SVT Raptor, couldn't get up that jump to get to it...

saw a few other cars, but didn't get them yet

and obviously the Alfa Romeo 4C

I really have to get used to the handling... have trouble getting first in easy races, and crashing a lot...
I also found it a bit laggy as well at times and the crash cutscenes CAN get VERY annoying... (especially how you can't skip it) and start of race sequence are very fancy and all but also annoying when you restart the race a lot *because of previously mentioned reasons*

had 2 short chases, but I guess because of the low heat reason, quite easy to evade...

haven't played multiplayer... will play more when I get the time (hard to come by these days)

I REALLY like the graphics though, and I'm not sure but I think it looks better than Hot Pursuit
didn't really notice the option in anti-aliasing, but I turned everything max, and it runs at 30fps most of the time (seems locked) and a few times dips to 23-25, but they're playable (on my almost 3 years old system) also how the sun glares can make you blind coming out of a tunnel, etc makes it more interesting to drive around and I love how they have the whole day/night cycle (unlike the original MW)

On another forum, someone mentioned it's easier with keyboard controls (I use the xbox360 pad)... I really should try that maybe it'll be better... (always been keyboard until NFS Shift)
but ever since I got them, anything to do with driving, I tend to go on it first...
