Acrylic tubing question

I am putting together a new build and sourcing parts, I was seriously considering copper tubes but rather go for acrylic. Here is my dilemma; I cannot find tubing that would match up with the necessary connectors. It seems that copper tubing is relatively easy to source but I have not found an acrylic tube that matches 10mm or 12mm OD. It seems that all acrylic tubing in America is set to SAE and not metric sizes.
I’ve sent out a few emails to companies and waiting for a response.

Does anyone have any info on a place to get metric acrylic tubes in America? questionmark.gif

If these guys don't have it, you simply can't get it in the U.S.

Hint: Scroll all the way down on the "sizes" for metric.

Appreciate it ForNever and it seems that things may be not pan out how I want for this project to get the exact acrylic tubing. I am still waiting for a response so there may still be hope

sweet ppc seems to have 12mm push-in fittings for 12mm tubing now

Yes you can use push fittings with acrylic piping as long as the fitting has a bite ring. Also here is a guide called Pipe Bending 101 by B Negative that will help with the bending of the acrylic easily. Its about a half way down the page. This guide is mostly for Copper Benders, but we did have someone come inquire about bending acrylic. One fellow OCN posted some pics to show what he did with his acrylic.

Quick follow up to this if anybody is thinking about ordering it. I received 6 tubes of the 12mm 10mm yesterday and had a quick chance to play with it. After quickly filing down the coarse edges at the end for about a minute I popped the end into a bitspower c47 fitting - it fits and seals absolutely perfect! My new build will now definitely consist of 100% acrylic tubing.
