Need to be worried about EK SUPREMACY Acetal Nickel blocks? - Page 2

Frozen CPU is a pretty small company. I work for a small internet based company as well, and we only will pay postage on repair work warranties. Any returns on purchased items are subjected to a 15% restocking fee primarily because it takes a LOT of time to pull orders, update inventory, pack it properly, process the shipping, and get it out the door. You spend less often times with small online retailers than you do in store, so they deserve compensation. Now granted on large orders it can be a hefty chunk, but you made the purchase and agreed to the terms.

It is also very bad taste to title a thread "Feeling a bit scammed" when in fact, you knew the return policy, and purchased an item without researching if it's actually what you wanted.

EK blocks are still some o fthe best performing blocks out there... if you find that would blocks are starting to carrode, the RMA them with EK... if not, then you are set... i would personaly just use them and check them every tear down (should do one every 6 months or so anyways)

Interesting, I didn't even know that. I will change the title to something more appropriate. It's not that I knew before ordering, it's that I didn't plan on that being the case, but I failed to read before ordering, so it was indeed my fault. I didn't realize returns were this much of an issue though, so you're right, the title is unfair.

Good point. Hopefully they will be ok, I just became worried, and was a bit miffed at myself since I made a last second decision. Thanks for the support.

Good deal, we can try them out together. Hopefully these babies hold up, thanks for posting!
