Laptop Recommendation: Light laptop primarily for business use.

Thread Starter
I need to purchase a laptop in a few weeks for a new job. I will be traveling frequently so battery life and lightness are important. It would be nice if i could play SCII while on the road as well (but it isn't required). Screen size would ideally be around the 13.3" size. Ideal resolution would be at least 1600 x 900.

I've looked at thinkpads, zenbooks, macs, sonys.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sony VAIO S 13" and ThinkPad T430 are good for you although they have their drawbacks each. VAIO S is very thin and light although the battery life is not that great unless you get the sheet battery which adds to the bulk a bit and costs $150 extra. T430 would be good as the 9 cell battery lasts a very long time (9-10 hours I've heard) and it also has a sheet battery you can get in addition to that. However it is not as thin and light as the Sony VAIO. It is not too bulky to carry around though. As long as you get the graphics card on either model, it will be able to run SCII. HD 4000 integrated graphics would probably be able to run it on all low settings but I can't make promises there.

The T430 chassis are tank as

Also the Lenovo E435 which is 14 inch with an AMD APU which should be able to handle star-craft fine.
