Who's planning on getting a Wii U? - Page 2

i was planning on getting one when they were announced but since then i have realised that they will be inferior to the newer consoles when they are released and then the WII U just like the WII will get hand me down games and ultimately render itself useless.

i am going to stick with PC gaming ofc thumb.gif

Nope, do not play with my Wii enough meow to warrant the new one. Rather have a tab or jeep parts.

I had to do the preorder through walmart layaway thing since i missed out on bestbuy and gamestop, the good thing is you can just go into walmart at midnight on the 18th, pay them the 1 cent they make you keep on your tab and walk out without having to deal with the ridiculously that will most likely be the electronics section

My Wii is hooked up but very very rarely played. I can honestly say it was such a waste of money. Would never by the next one, but I know families with small children that get plenty of use out of them. Not meant for adults IMO.

I hear this argument a lot, I guess Nintendo games are no longer your preference, that's cool. I have 20 + games for the Wii but I haven't had time to finish them all, my system gets a lot of action that's why I don't get the child stigma that Nintendo has or that the Wii has no good games. I guess it all depends on what games your into.

I want to get one but it isn't worth $300 to me. I'm not saying its over priced, its just I know I would only want it for a few games. I just recently got a 3DS (used, $130) only for Mario 3D land, Mario Kart and The New Super Mario Bros 2. Other than that I really have no interest in the system.
