ok thanks looks like i will do this and now winter is starting to show up here lol means i can crank the fan down a bit more to 60% only and enjoy a quite system as well thumb.gif

Thread necro...

If the modules are the Hynix ones, they are rated for 6GHz/1.6v +/- 0.05v, so, up to 1.65v, safe. don't know about the Samsung ones though.
