Can anyone recommend a high quality displayport to mini displayport

I have a displayport monitor, and my gfx only supports mini displayports

Whats a good quality cable?

I don't believe getting a nice chord will make any difference compared to a cheaper one. Just get a cheap one off ebay.

Well I have two displayport to mini adapters (see pic)
And neither work.

So I think cable quality does matter

They do make miniDP to DP cables = no need for adapters.

Also make sure you get ones that are DP or VESA certified. If they are not tested/certified by VESA, you may get issues with generic DP cables that may have an issue with one of the pins that transmit electricity and causing BSOD on Windows 8 PCs.
