mobo : z77-dh3
i5 3750k
psu gigabayet 550 watt

4300 ghz
LLC : mid
voltt : 1.220

staple for 3 hour prime 95
can i go for 4500ghz ? and i dont have that setting ( offset ) in my mobo i cant see it

its right under where you put your voltage,
if you put "Normal" in the CPU Vcore box, you can use offset,
it should be greyed out now, because you use a fixed vcore..

cant say if you can go for 4.5ghz, whats your temps etc,
few pics and some more info would be helpful

the pic is just a example, the 1.350V you see there is just a voltage setting,
only used it to show you where you could find offset and how to use it, thats all..

Vcore - VID = offset

core temp shows VID,
cpu-z shows vcore,

open both, use fixed vcore first, then note what vid and vcore are,
use a program to load your processor 100%, prime is ok..
do the math, and thats about what you need to use offset..

will make a pic ..

see, my vcore here is 1.308 and vid is 1.2560

1.308 - 1.2560 = 0.052

thats what my offset would be, or anyways about,
0.045V offset could work too, or maybe i need 0.055 offset,
to make it really staple as you call it ..lol ..jk ..stable

you have to try that for yourselfs, every chip is different

this is only the setting i have change VCORE and LLC
who much power in watt will cost - ist safe for 24/7
i can go for 4.5 1.295 voltt LLC : turbo

thats what i tried to say earlier,
you have to put "Normal" in the box where you put your fixed CPU Vcore,
if you do that, then you can use offset, its greyed out now because
you put your 1.265V vcore in there smile.gif

power cost in watt, i cant say, Khaled G posted this in another thread,
i looked at it just now , i tried it..looks good to me to calculate your watts usage
http://www.coolermaster.outervision.com/advance.jsp

using offset is cheaper with watts then fixed vcore, just saying,
seems important to you how much watts you will use smile.gif
