Hi there,

I currently own the GS3 and am very happy with it so far but couldn't help but notice the new Nexus 4 that has just been announced and available to purchase in the next few weeks.

The spec is very close to the S3 and runs a similar screen but at a much cheaper price at only £280 for the 16GB model. If you were me, would you sell the S3 (which could fetch £300 or near about) and grab a Nexus 4?

Even your thoughts on the Nexus would be appreciated!

Screen might be close in size but thats where similarities end, Nexus 4 will have a much better display, on the level of One X, which is considered to be best right now, also much more power, pure google, wireless charging, longer battery life etc. I say go for the Nexus 4

Nexus 4.

Why?

It's faster, has newer processor architecture, arguably better display (768p True HD IPS) and a newer version of Android.

Yes the LG Nexus 4 is better than the SGS3.

Depends if you care to be limited to a max of 16GB (more like 14GB with OS and format) and lack of LTE.

I currently have the SG3 and will be picking the Nexus to play with.

I am considering the same thing. I have a Galaxy S III now but I am intrigued by the pure Google OS and the fact that any updates will be received promptly and without carrier influence. I used a 16gb iphone in one form or another for years so it doesnt bother me to have to go back to that rolleyes.gif. Id say get the nexus.

Darn, looks like I am going to have to seriously consider the Nexus now then!

I really do like the look of the pure Google OS but the price for the phone is the thing that is really swinging me.

If you're happy with your s3, then why? The galaxy s3 is still one of the best phones around and can easily last you another year, you can then upgrade to the next nexus.

Google said that they're not using microSD on their devices.
